Founder - DEBliberate
Deb Kilsheimer spent decades in the accounting world doing what she was supposed to do. Until she stopped, she stopped undercharging. She stopped overdelivering to clients who didn’t value her. She stopped waiting for permission to take up space. And then she built something better.
Today, Deb is the founder of DEBliberate and a sought-after keynote speaker for accounting and finance professionals who are ready to think differently. Her philosophy, Dare. Expand. Belong., is not a motivational tagline. It is a framework for how she has lived her career and how she challenges every audience to live theirs.
At 70, Deb is just getting started. She co-hosts Bookkeepers on Fire, speaks on stages across the country, and has built a brand that proves one thing: bold thinking has no expiration date. She brings humor, hard truths, and a stage presence that makes people lean forward and leave with a plan.
She doesn’t whisper. She commands a room. And she will challenge you to do the same.
CEO & Creative Producer - Theatre of Public Speaking
She directed Broadway World-nominated musicals and led a 400,000-person global partner program at Intuit. Not sequentially. At the same time. Misty Megia has never done things the expected way, and the speaking and business world is better for it.
She has been performing since age seven, evolving over 35 years from actor to choreographer to director of sold-out productions in 400+ seat theatres. In college, she competed as a dancer before stepping into Silicon Valley, where she built sales divisions, launched products across emerging markets, and learned to read any room she walked into.
That path eventually led her into the accounting profession, where she built conference programs, speaker pipelines, and education infrastructure from scratch. CPA Practice Advisor named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Accounting. She joined the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting list. At Intuit, she led over 400,000 accounting partners across multiple countries and drove 37% certification growth.
In 2020, she left Intuit and built what nobody else could: Theatre of Public Speaking (ToPS). ToPS sits at the intersection of theatre, education science, and corporate strategy, delivering a 90% course completion rate in an industry where the average is 5 to 15%. Her clients include Intuit, Autodesk, Gusto, Oracle, and AICPA.
Her debut book, The Director’s Method: Lead With Vision, Activate Imagination, and Deliver Breakthrough Business Results, launches October 2026.
